If this ain’t life in a nutshell y’all. You work all year to go on vacation. You open the umbrellas, you sit, exhale and look at the sparkling ocean beyond. And then, two people set their chairs up directly in your view with no regard to your situation. And then they leave their chairs to go elsewhere but keep their camp set up.
I guess the lesson from the beach today is this: we can’t control other people or their ignorance. But we can make sure we aren’t like this, we can control ourselves; shift our focus, turn our chair towards the sparkle and if we are lucky in moments; maybe chuckle at how ridiculous it all is.
